Living here in Arizona I have been warning for two years that Obama’s vote fraud “machine” for the 2012 will be of unprecedented scale and reach. One of the many tactics will be to flood the country with “new” Americans of various designations, all of which will be “vaguely” defined legally because of the ever-changing memos and executive orders and their conflicts with Congress, immigration law and the Constitution. There will be tremendous pressure not to “alienate” or “disenfranchise” these illegal aliens who are getting Obama ‘pixie dust’ to instantly get citizenship. The Republican party and Constitutionalists everywhere need to assemble an army of attorneys to gum things up in the courts. Otherwise….Viva Obama in 2012. And if he gets away with THAT, what’s to stop him from becoming president for LIFE? He is thumbing his nose at America. Will you let this stand?
In June, the president indicated that if he could not get the 60 votes needed in the Senate to pass the “Dream Act,” he would draw an executive order to grant the amnesty by failing to prosecute deportations through the Department of Homeland Security. Several senators asked for a clarification from Obama.
In July, President Obama told the Latino activist group La Raza that he would not do an “end-around” the Congress on immigration reform, even though they wanted him to do so: [you can hear the following about 15:00 min. in]
Obama’s La Raza speechShortly after this speech, Gallup took a poll and found the president’s approval with Latinos had dropped 36 points ….from 85% approval in 2009 to 49% now.
“And I promise you, we are responding to your concerns and working every day to make sure we are enforcing flawed laws in the most humane and best possible way.
Now, I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own. (Applause.) And believe me, right now dealing with Congress —
AUDIENCE: Yes, you can! Yes, you can! Yes, you can! Yes, you can! Yes, you can!
THE PRESIDENT: Believe me — believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. (Laughter.) I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. (Laughter.) But that’s not how — that’s not how our system works.
AUDIENCE MEMBER: Change it!”
So, even though he himself had admitted it would be illegal to do so, Barack Obama made a very “totalitarian” move just as he went on a lavish, controversial 11-day vacation.
Hans von Spakovsky at Heritage says the president has, by writing a simple memo, created an amnesty program in the United States which has already been rejected by Congress. This is what dictators do.
What is not clear and must be asked: How soon and under what law do these newly “deputized” illegal aliens get to vote in American elections? How many millions more will flood the border to get in for the “deal?”
Most importantly, summer break or not, WHY ISN’T CONGRESS RAISING HELL ABOUT THIS?
“The Obama administration cannot get its amnesty schemes through Congress, so now it has resorted to implementing its plans via executive fiat,” said Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.Amnesty Now! Lawless Presidency? GOP Leadership Mute?
“We need to remind President Obama that we elected a president that serves beneath the law and did not anoint a king that is above the law.”
Joining her criticisms were two other border-state Republicans, Reps. Michael McCaul and Lamar Smith of Texas.
“It’s just the latest attempt by this president to bypass the intended legislative process when he does not get his way,” McCaul said.
Smith said, “The Obama administration should enforce immigration laws, not look for ways to ignore them.”
And Florida Rep. Allen West jumped into the fray, too, calling for a House investigation into the guidelines. In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, he accused Obama of “shredding the Constitution” with the new guidelines. “It is a form of amnesty and it does go against our Constitution and it very much concerns me because now we are rewarding people for an illegal activity,” he said.”

“In an announcement I would have expected them to try to bury on a Friday afternoon instead of Thursday, the administration said it would review the cases of 300,000 illegal aliens already in removal proceedings — and not just let some of them go, but give them work authorization as well.
“This is further proof, as if any is needed, that the administration is using the pretext of ‘prosecutorial discretion’ as a tool of policy. In other words, any executive needs to exercise some discretion, because the law is a blunt instrument and requires those carrying it out to have some wiggle room to deal with the handful of highly unusual cases that might warrant it. But this administration is using this necessary, but limited tool as an instrument of policymaking, which can only be described as a lawless act.” - Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of CIS
NumbersUSA’s Chris Chmielenski reveals today in his “Obama’s Administrative Amnesty: From Rumor to Reality’ –
“Last year, we were the first to break the news that the Obama Administration was considering options that would grant an administrative amnesty to illegal aliens living in the United States. Yesterday, that possibility became a reality when White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs Cecilia Munoz announced a change to the Department of Homeland Security’s deportation policy. Going forward, DHS will review deportation cases on a case-by-case basis and focus future deportations only on criminal illegal aliens, allowing non-criminal illegal aliens to stay in the country. Making matters worse, the Wall Street Journal has confirmed that illegal aliens who receive deferred action or parole from deportation can apply for work permits allowing them to compete with 22 million Americans looking for full-time work. That’s 300,000 illegal aliens who could potentially receive work permits!”
Except for a statement today from House Judiciary Committee chairman Lamar Smith, at press time we see nothing on the websites of speaker John Boehner or majority leader Eric Cantor about this travesty. Smith, however, weighed in –
“The Administration has again made clear its plan to grant backdoor amnesty to illegal immigrants. They have created a working group that appears to have the specific purpose of overruling, on a ‘case-by-case’ basis, an immigration court’s final order of removal, or preventing that court from even issuing such an order.”
“The Obama administration should enforce immigration laws, not look for ways to ignore them. The Obama administration should not pick and choose which laws to enforce. Administration officials should remember the oath of office they took to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land.”
The House Judiciary panel has serious remedies to explore when the president of the United States fails to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” on such a grand scale.
In the meantime, the House of Representatives could vote to deny funds to the Executive Branch starting next fiscal year on October 1, 2011 for granting work permits to illegal liens.
But then again, maybe not.
Maybe that would be the kind of action majority leader Cantor deplores –
“House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) urged rank-and-file Republicans in a Wednesday memo to avoid brinksmanship in battles over Washington spending. The message from the majority leader is an effort to prevent the kinds of fights over government spending that could lead to government shutdowns this fall if Congress cannot agree on legislation to fund the government.”
After all, it is only about jobs. Hardly worth risking a government shutdown over that.
